The purpose of the Kappa Takeover All-White Affair is to raise money for various charitable and community engagement programs supported by the host chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and their affiliated charitable foundations. EVENT CHECK-IN

We strongly recommend that guests check in early!

Check-in locations: Felt Lounge from 4 - 7 PM and MGM Ballroom from 5 - 11 PM.

Present your Eventbrite ticket on your smartphone or a printout of your ticket. We recommend that guests download the Eventbrite app from Google Play or the Apple Store. Each guest who checks in will receive a wristband and food ticket.

PARKING AND RIDESHARE

MGM National Harbor has free parking. We are expecting more than 2,000 guests, so the parking garage will fill up quickly. We encourage our guests to arrive, park and check-in early.

Uber and Lyft serve the National Harbor area.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

We are following the state of Maryland COVID protocols. Masks are optional.

PURSES & OTHER EXTERNAL ITEMS

Ladies can bring purses. Outside food, water, soft drinks and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

FOOD SERVICE

Sliders will be served on Potomac Plaza during the All-White Affair Main Event.  Guests will receive a food ticket at check-in. Each food ticket can be redeemed for up to two sliders (per person) between the hours of 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. After 8:30 PM, sliders are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while food supplies last.

Slider choices: Harbor Beef Classic, Fried Chicken, Italian Meatball.

In addition to the sliders, VIP Guests will also have the option of dining from the Turkey Carving Station without the need to present a food ticket. The food ticket is only for the sliders.

CASH BARS

There will be several cash bars located throughout Potomac Plaza and in the Diggs Boys Chill Room (MGM Ballroom).

Felt Bar & Lounge and Diablo’s Cantina are also cash bar.

In addition to alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and bottled water are available for purchase at the cash bars.

Diggs Boys Bourbon is the signature bourbon brand for Kappa Takeover ‘22. Our signature drink Old Fashioned Diamond will be made with Diggs Boys Bourbon. Diggs Boys Bourbon will also have a vendor table and will be taking online orders for its bourbon product.

PREMIUM CIGARS

Our premium cigar vendor 1868 Smoke will have two designated cigar smoking areas on the Potomac Plaza. They are selling cigars on the Plaza and in the MGM Ballroom. They are also selling cigars in the VIP Lounge area and will have a special premium cigar available to VIP smokers.

VIP LOUNGE FEATURES AND AMENITIES

The All-White Affair VIP Lounge features premium seating at all three venues and a premium food menu, VIP food stations and cash bar access in Potomac Plaza.

VENDORS

Merchandise vendors selling Greek-letter paraphernalia and wellness products will be in the MGM Ballroom area.

TICKET & DONATION INFORMATION

VIP passes: There are no more VIP passes available for sale.

General Admission tickets: can be purchased from kappatakeover22.eventbrite.com.

Refunds: there are absolutely no refunds for this event, under any circumstances.

Eventbrite tickets: you can access your tickets through the Eventbrite website or app. You can forward your tickets to others through your Eventbrite account.

Donations: your friends, family members and others who are not attending Kappa Takeover can support the charitable causes and community engagement programs that will benefit from the event by making a tax-deductible donation at  kappatakeover22.eventbrite.com.
